Sunday lunch – roast beef

Following some interesting discussions on food, meat and shaved meat on another blog (texanaskitchen), I present today’s Sunday roast beef lunch:

Tada!

Dinner for two  Mouth watering (Click for bigger)

Silverside. Browned in a casserole on the hob with chopped onion. Then slowly braised in the oven for 2 hours or so. Fresh veg. dash of gravy stock and mustard and a glass (or two) of Shiraz. That’s the way I like it.
