WikiLeaks – Afghanistan – treason?

July 29, 2010

These (and other) leaks of secret documents are like ‘joy-riding’ It isn’t; it’s car theft.

And this is not only theft and publication of state secrets, it would seem that the lives of Afghan collaborators and their families may have been put at risk. If the worst happens those who stole and those who published the material must be held at least partly responsible for their deaths.

The last time I checked, the act of passing information  to an enemy which aided their attacks on allied forces was treason.

Don’t we still have the death penalty for treason?
