Whatever next?

April 27, 2007

I was going to write about the supposed scam in Japan, selling lambs with their wool trimmed to make them look like poodles to gullible women but it seems the whole story was made up. Lots of people here were taken in by it, though.

Mind you, I remember one UK newspaper (I use the word loosely) featured a front page ‘photo’ and article about a WW2 bomber being found on the moon. I couldn’t believe the number of people who fell for that one!

Enough of trivia. What else is happening?

Not a lot: Sue is still job-hunting. The car auction parking arrangements go from bad to ludicrous. James and Tess are off to Marseilles for the weekend. The garden is looking a little bit better each day; some flowers are over now but even more are starting to bloom and the recent rain shower seems to have started the weed&feed working on the moss in the lawn.

One more week and then the exam marking starts. So looking forward to that (sarcasm). At least it pays quite well.

Not really. It was on the BBC news and I read about it on the BBC website so you could search there for it. But there would appear to be no truth in it.
