Where have we been?

November 2, 2005

We make a point of never going to the same place twice, though we have been back to different parts of Egypt.

In no particular order, we have, since 1973, visited Egypt, Lebanon, Morrocco, Oman, France, Spain, Sweden, Cuba, Mexico, India, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Tanzania, the Maldives, Cambodia, Greece and Brazil.

We have holidays in the Far East booked for 2006.

We like warm, sunny places but hate the idea of lazing in the sun for more than a day or two. A sun tan is nice – and we’ve learned how not to get burned, even on the equator. Ancient cultures and architecture, wild life, snorkelling (and swimming, of course), walking, good food and drink are among the things we want from a holiday.

I’ll try to post some details of the places we’ve visited. If you want a first-hand opinion of any aspect of any of the places, just ask.
